The Extended Retracta Ladder® is a retractable elevator pit ladder designed to improve access in applications where standard ladder placement creates excessive reach. By extending further from the wall, it enhances safety and helps meet code requirements for ladder positioning while maintaining a compact profile when retracted.

  • Gas spring assist (< 30 lbf operating force)
  • Pull pin locking system secures ladder in extended and retracted positions
  • Optional Pull Pin Pole™ available to safely operate ladder in hard-to-reach installations
Electrical Safety Device
  • Prevents elevator operation when ladder is extended
  • Normally Closed (NC) contact, positive break
Additional Details
  • Compatible with the Divider Beam Kit™
  • Can be combined with stationary or SmartLadder™ sections for deeper pit applications
