supply a broad variety of seismic sheave rope retainers. Where
required to comply with ASME A17.1 Section 8.4.3.1 Rope
Retainers for seismic, we can supply the material
whether for retrofit or new construction.
We have pre-engineered designs
for many Hollister-Whitney, Titan, Dover, Westinghouse, Otis
and other 2:1 sheaves, deflector sheaves and drive sheaves.
If we haven't already designed the specific seismic rope
retainer for your application, we will be happy to custom
design it and add it into our inventory.

The complete assemblies are
manufactured in the USA to precision tolerances.
Retainers are powder coat painted OSHA Safety Yellow for
excellent rust protection and to improve safety visibility.
All necessary fasteners and hardware is included. Many
designs simple bolt in place utilizing existing sheave or
machine fasteners and require no field drilling or
fabrication. Some designs, however, do require field
drilling. Simple installation drawings are provided.
